If people are complaining about dust or allergy symptoms, that is an air purifier conversation. HEPA filters do not remove humidity. A dehumidifier does not catch fine particles.

So the practical rule I use is this: if it is a moisture problem, control humidity. If it is a particle problem, filter the air. If both problems exist, budget for both.

What technical detail matters most before I approve an order?
